A new angle for modern living as Ideal Standard extends Strada range

New angular ceramic and furniture pieces added to collection, ahead of autumn brassware and bathing launch

Ideal Standard, the leading provider of innovative and design-driven bathroom solutions has extended its popular Strada collection. With its square-edged look and high fashion feel, Strada is the ultimate modern bathroom range and is part of Ideal Standard’s exclusive showroom collection. Strada’s complete range of precisely crafted ceramics and contemporary furniture, brings a clean and unified atmosphere to the bathroom.

Now, a collection of new ceramic and furniture pieces have been added to the range, along with two new colour options of Bamboo and Gloss Taupe. Further range extensions for brassware and bathing have also been confirmed for later in the year.

With clean straight lines, coupled with ultra-modern geometric shapes, Strada’s understated style and balanced proportions make it easy to integrate with other Ideal Standard collections.

The new ceramic pieces include more angular, vanity basins and vessel basins in round and oval shapes, as well as the option of a smaller hand-rinse counter top basin, allowing users personalise their bathroom, whilst using one consistent range. Completing the ceramics is a range of WCs, with wall hung close coupled and back-to-wall options.

The Strada range is also welcoming an extensive collection of furniture, which includes three different sized basin units from 800mm to 1200mm which are compatible with 13 basins in the range. The internal shelf under basin allows for ‘easy reach’ of smaller everyday items, giving an extra touch. Additional personalisation is also offered through a number of available add-ons including drawer dividers and a space saving siphon.

New basin units can be used directly with corresponding vanity basins or with worktops to house the vessel and countertop basins, some of which are pre-cut to aid installation. These can also be used independently of the basin storage units by using the bracket sets with integrated towel holder. To complete the range, sleek wall mounted column units, in full or half height with colour-co-ordinated or mirrored doors are also available.

Mike Pentecost, marketing director Ideal Standard, commented: “These new additions to the classic Strada range really enhance our offering. We have been able to maintain the minimalist look of the collection, whilst giving users more options to create a beautiful use of space in their own bathrooms, through different shapes and colours.”

The rational and cool design of Strada will continue later in the year with new bathing and fittings options, due out in September. The single-ended and double-ended baths will use IdealForm and IdealForm+ technology and also come with the option of an added gel headrest for extra comfort.
The Strada fittings range was recently previewed at KBB in Birmingham and received a very positive response.

“By previewing the new brassware ahead of its official launch, we were able to gain genuine insight and feedback from customers to make sure the range is exactly right for market”, comments Jeff Williams, Category Manager for Fittings at Ideal Standard.
