Taps can be very annoying. If they don't drip, they trickle or gush. How many times have you turned on a tap only to find yourself, and the floor, drenched in a spray of water – wasteful and wet! Taps are inexcusably water-guzzling. The average basin tap can use up to 8 litres of water a minute and in a household where the tap is left on for tooth brushing and shaving, this can amount to vast quantities.
Click Cartridge Technology
Water economy and ergonomic design meet in taps with CLICK CLICK technology.
The single lever basin mixer and bidet mixer
incorporate a CLICK feature that encourages
water saving – the user lifts the handle until they
feel a slight resistance. This resistance informs the
user that the fitting is delivering only 50% of its
maximum flow potential. Lifting the handle
further enables the fitting to deliver maximum
flow. CLICK technology is available on Idyll Two,
Ceramix, Ceraplan and Melange.technology. A single lever delivers hot and cold in the normal way, but as you adjust the flow using an up and down motion you meet a gentle resistance point that allows you to choose a more moderate 50% flow. Simple and effective, by selecting the CLICK CLICK technology.

Ceramic Disc Cartridge
Imagine you've a dripping tap. Either you can change the washer – a boring job at the best of times – or you can't, which means a plumber call-out or else just living with the resulting limescale and irritation. Each drip is pure, fresh water down the plug-hole, and if a tap wastes a litre of water an hour, that's the equivalent of nearly 1500 full WC flushes a year. Staggering! And yet the solution is simple: a tap with a ceramic disc Ceramic Disc technology incorporates a a multi-port cartridge which is a unique
feature for easy temperature control.
A single lever controls the pressure and
temperature within a unique comfort zone, between 30-45°C. This gives more sensitive control and provides smooth effortless handle operation even at high pressures.
cartridge won't be prone to drip, and will control the water flow with absolute precision. Once again, utility meets economy in this smart water-saving device.
Flow Regulators
Where there's high pressure, a tap can deliver a wasteful and uncomfortably hard flow. For lathering and rinsing a softer stream is more comfortable and practical. To achieve this, a flow regulator is screwed into the tap outlet where it transforms the gush into a pleasing aerated spray. For example, a mixer tap flow regulator delivers a maximum of 6 litres of water up to a pressure of 3 bar.
